Simple steps to build any type of shed you want.

1 – Chose the Perfect Spot

It is obvious and very important that you first mark out and measure the exact area and surrounding space you want your new shed to be including enough room around your shed’s location to work in.

2 – Plan the Perfect Shed

Now you know the exact size of your desired shed it is time to sketch an outline of your shed, this does not have to be a work of art. Simply make sure you have the measurements and dimensions of your shed and any additional features you would like it to have.

Many plans for sheds can be found online to give you an idea of how to sketch one.

Now take your sketch to your local DIY store who will for a small fee or maybe complementary put together a professional shed plan for you out of your drawing and instruction. They will also give you a list of the supplies and materials you will need to build the shed and the various steps of the build process.

3 – Get Your Materials

Ensure you have all the necessary equipment and materials listed ready before you start building.

4 – The Good Part Begins

OK, you are equipped and prepared , so the fun part of actually starting to build a storage shed can commence.

Begin by levelling the area surface and lay out your desired foundation, either wood or concrete.

5 – Wall to Wall

To begin building first make the walls, work along with the instructions of your shed plan to the letter and it will be a as easy as 1,2,3.

Tips

Layout all of your tools and materials to the side with enough room to move about.

It is simpler to build the sides of the shed one at a time then slot them iin at the same time with ease.
